Soul's Crossover X Sets Tier List

Sets in Soul’s Crossover X reward wearing three matching pieces — usually a soul, weapon, and armor or title — at the same time. Individual item stats still apply; set bonuses stack on top as percentage boosts to damage, defense, crit, and regeneration. This guide ranks every major set so you know which trio to farm before burning gems on reforges.

S Tier — Best sets

Erased Set

The Erased Set is widely considered the best all-around set in July 2026 meta. Equip all three pieces simultaneously:

• Real Knife (weapon) — 20% drop from Chara
• True Locket (armor) — 20% drop from Chara
• Determination Soul — craft at Sans Crafting with 10,000 Gold and 2 Determination Soul Shards

Set bonuses: +250 HP, +100 Mana, +25% DMG, +10% Crit DMG, +10% DEF, +10% Health Regen, +10% Mana Regen, +2 Walk Speed.

Erased Set turns an already strong Determination soul and Real Knife into a complete package — damage, mitigation, and sustain. The Chara farm is painful but dual drops (knife and locket from the same boss) improve efficiency. This set anchors the standard Endgame Build.

Pair with Seven Souls once crafted for maximum HP/Mana, or run Determination until Seven Souls is complete — set bonuses apply either way.

A Tier — Strong mid-game sets

Justice Set

Justice Set targets players entering mid-game who can afford Muffet’s Shop prices and Justice soul shards:

• Empty Gun — Muffet’s Shop, 7,500 Gold
• Cowboy Hat — Muffet’s Shop, 7,500 Gold
• Justice Soul — Sans Crafting, 10,000 Gold, 2 Justice Soul Shards (Mettaton bosses)

Set bonuses: +100 HP, +50 Mana, +20% DMG, +10% Crit DMG, +5% DEF, +10% Health Regen, +10% Mana Regen, +3 Walk Speed.

Justice Set is the first major percentage damage spike accessible without rare boss RNG — only Justice shards require farming. Total gold cost (~25,000) is modest compared to Chaos Saber crafting. Many accounts wear Justice Set until Real Knife drops or Erased pieces assemble.

Tem Set

Tem Set favors exploration and mobility over raw boss DPS:

• Debt and Dreams (title) — ~2% drop from Temmie
• Tem Soul — Tem Shop, 100 Gems, level 30
• Tem Armor — Tem Shop, 15 Gems

Set bonuses: +50 HP, +25 Mana, +10% DMG, +5% Crit DMG, +5% DEF, +5% Health Regen, +5% Mana Regen, +2 Walk Speed.

Tem Soul alone grants +15 Jump Power — unmatched for map traversal. Tem Set adds modest combat percentages on top. Ranked A-tier because Temmie title farming is low drop rate and combat bonuses trail Justice and Erased. Ideal for players who enjoy open-world discovery; swap to Justice or Erased for serious boss progression.

How sets interact with souls and weapons

Sets do not replace souls — they multiply them. Example: +25% DMG on Erased Set applies to your weapon’s base combo damage, which then scales with Bravery’s +24% passive after eight hits. Stacking percentages is why Erased + Frisk Knife dominates speed clears.

Armor and titles matter. Players who only upgrade souls and weapons leave 20–25% free damage on the table.

Sets vs event gear

The DBZ Event introduces Super Saiyan Soul and themed armor outside traditional Undertale sets. Event gear does not complete Erased, Justice, or Tem sets — treat it as a parallel track. The Event Build explains when to pause set farming for Release Tokens.

Reforging and sets

Reforging changes individual weapon/armor rolls, not set bonus percentages. Reforge Real Knife after you commit to Erased Set; do not reforge Empty Gun if you plan to replace it with Real Knife soon. Five gems per attempt at Chara’s station — details on Tools.

Progression recommendation

1. Early: Skip full sets; craft Patience → Integrity.
2. Mid: Complete Justice Set when Mettaton shards arrive.
3. Optional: Tem Set for mobility or collection.
4. Late: Farm Chara for Erased Set while pushing Determination shards.
5. Capstone: Equip Erased with Seven Souls and Frisk Knife.

Why Erased beats Justice at endgame

Justice Set offers excellent bang-for-gold during levels 40–100. Erased Set’s +25% DMG and dual regen stats outperform Justice when paired with Real Knife’s DPS and Determination’s HP pool. The crossover point is usually when Chara drops at least one Erased piece — equip it immediately even before the set is complete, then return to Justice only if you lack a better weapon temporarily.
