Step 2 — Erased Set from Chara

- Determination Soul Shard — 10%
One boss, three endgame pieces. Prioritize Chara sessions once Justice Set from Beginner Build feels easy.
Craft Determination Soul at Sans: 10,000 Gold, 2 Determination shards. Equip Real Knife + True Locket + Determination even before Seven Souls — partial Erased is still S-tier.

Step 3 — Frisk Knife farming
US Frisk drops Frisk Knife at ~10%. Stats: 6750 combo, ~4500 DPS, 25% crit, 60% piercing — best weapon in the game.
If Frisk Knife refuses to drop after many kills:
Chaos Saber backup (craftable)
- 100,000 Gold, 50 Gems at Sans Crafting
- Chaos Saber Pieces A/B/C — 20% each from Asriel
- Additional materials including Sans Bone
Chaos Saber sits at ~3300 DPS with 25% piercing — guaranteed once pieces drop. Upgrade to Frisk Knife when it finally appears; reforge the keeper at Chara (5 Gems per attempt).
Step 4 — Soul and weapon synergy
Bravery Soul alternative: If you prefer burst over Seven Souls’ raw pool, Bravery’s +24% DMG after 8 hits synergizes insanely with Frisk Knife’s piercing. Some speedrunners run Bravery + Erased + Frisk until Seven Souls completes.
Kindness off-slot: Keep Kindness crafted for learning new secret bosses — shield passive saves practice runs.
Step 5 — Reforge and enchant
Endgame gear deserves reforge investment:
- 5 Gems per reforge attempt
- 9 possible tiers of rolled stats
- Enchant station near Chara NPC in lobby (between Frisk reforge and Chara enchant rooms)
Do not reforge Justice Set shop gear — put gems into Real Knife or Frisk Knife only. Calculator helpers may live on Tools.
